What inspired you to become a Chiropractor?
I enjoy building genuine relationships with my patients and utilising chiropractic care to help them move and feel better.
Do you treat pregnant women, babies and children?
Yes! I have a special interest in caring for pregnant women, babies and children. I am certified in the Webster Technique and have completed additional postgraduate training in paediatric and pregnancy chiropractic care through the Diplomate of the Australian College of Chiropractic Paediatrics (DACCP).
I enjoy supporting families through different stages of life, from pregnancy and postpartum care to babies and growing children.
What languages do you speak?
I am fluent in speaking English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay, making it easier for patients from different backgrounds to communicate comfortably.
If you see me around the clinic, be sure to come and say hi!
Are you AHPRA registered?
Yes. I am a registered chiropractor with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
What is your approach to treatment?
I believe in patient-centred care. I take the time to listen to your concerns, understand what is bothering you and tailor your care to your individual needs.
Treatments may include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue techniques, dry needling and other approaches depending on what is appropriate for you.
What can new patients expect from their first visit?
Your first visit starts with a conversation.I'll ask questions about your symptoms, health history and what you would like to achieve from your care.
I will then assess how your body is moving and discuss an appropriate treatment plan with you. Treatment may include soft tissue work and chiropractic adjustments, depending on your needs and preferences.
I may be petite, but don’t let my size fool you, I can certainly deliver a strong adjustment when appropriate!
How do you integrate dry needling into a chiropractic appointment?
Dry needling can be used alongside chiropractic care to target tight or sensitive muscles and help reduce muscle tension.
When appropriate, I may use dry needling before or alongside soft tissue work and chiropractic adjustments to help the muscles relax and make movement and treatment more comfortable.
Not every patient needs dry needling, so I will discuss whether it is suitable for you as part of your individual treatment plan.
What made you want to join Chiropractic on Winston?
I have a particular interest in caring for pregnant women, babies and children, so Chiropractic on Winston felt like a natural fit.
I love the clinic’s fun, welcoming and family-friendly environment, especially getting to meet so many mums, babies and growing families!
